Remember how I was raving about Tuesday's weather? Well Thursday's was even better! 80 degrees, sunny, beautiful! Unfortunately, the past two days have been significantly colder, but I was glad to play in the sun while it lasted! I even got away with a crop top and no shoes! Ah I'm getting so excited for summer...

I'm actually pretty surprised I left my dorm in a crop top. If you know me, you know I'm fairly self-conscious. I haven't felt comfortable in a bikini since sixth grade when I was 60lbs. But I'm slowly getting over body hate...sloooowly. But three cheers for loving yourself! Everyone is beautiful as they are!

I bought this beautiful vintage dress at Street Scene over Spring Break and have been a little nervous to wear it. It's not the most practical or expected article of clothing for traipsing around campus. On Tuesday, though, Jocelyn and I had the final performance of a scene from The Illusion for Acting. It's a period piece, so I thought having a long flowing dress on might help the posture and character, hence the debut of this dress!

The weather has been so lovely of late. A little on the warm side but on Tuesday we had a light drizzle of rain to cool down in. It felt so perfect to dance around in the rain in this dress! Truly magical!

Anyway, it's no secret that I've always wanted to be a fairy princess, so I'm glad I got to live out that dream for a few minutes in these pictures!

Jump for Joy, Spring Has Arrived!

Just two days ago I was lamenting the cold weather, but what do you know? Spring weather has arrived!
It was warm enough today to actually enjoy being outside, even without a coat! My friends and I took full advantage with a trip to Spencer's coffee shop downtown. Spring weather, smoothies, and friends...the recipe for a perfect day!

Today was a wonderful day for reasons beyond the weather and company too. Good grades on tests, classes finishing early, free time. Ahh, just what I needed before the insanity of the weekend. Hope you all had as pleasant a Thursday as I did!

Early Spring

Thursday was a surprisingly warm day, a welcome change from winter weather. Anna Lee, Sarah, Jocelyn, and I took advantage of the warmth with photos and cupcakes after Acting class!

This is only the second chance I've had to wear this lovely skirt, but I'm sure it will be a staple in my wardrobe once Spring finally rolls around.
