Studio Times: Spring 2013 Finals Edition

It's finals week once more. Which is an ideal time to procrastinate and kill time in the studio. I spent about two hours stretching in the studio trying to make myself focus on studying for a computer science test before giving up and whipping out the camera. Hence these photos. I went for a lighter, ethereal look with my editing this time. Let me know what you think!

One lovely thing about this week is that I'll be having several photoshoots with dance major friends in our down time. I look forward to sharing those photos!

Studio Sessions

It's been a low-key weekend so far, meaning I've been killing some time in the dance studios. I'm actually headed there now! Yesterday I thought I'd play around with capturing movement, in the hopes of one day being able to properly photograph dancers. Anyway, here are a few of the shots I got. Enjoy!

Studio Times - Domino

I've made a point of spending more time in the dance studio of late, just stretching and experimenting. Thursday night Jocelyn and I decided to work on tap and hip-hop for a bit, since we don't have a chance to work on those styles in class. We filmed a bit of Jessie J's "Domino," as seen below. It's super informal and not top-notch, but I had fun doing it! 

I'm hoping we'll keep playing around in the studio this semester. I'll try to post our progress so you all can see what I do with my life!
